HOMES FOR THE
HOLIDAYS On Wednesday, November 24, homeless families from the Kensington Welfare Rights Union will be setting up a Bushville Tent City in Philadelphia to demand the human right to decent, affordable housing.
Poor and Homeless families will set up a tent city under two heated tents and will display large photographs of children who are currently part of the struggle for affordable housing in this country.
The Bush administration continues to put billions of dollars towards a needless, brutal war while families across America suffer without the basic necessities of life. This is not a fight for a bed in a homeless shelter; it is a fight for decent, affordable housing for everyone is this rich country.
