Early Thursday morning KWRU gathered outside of City Hall to rally against the proposed cuts to housing in the city of Philadelphia.

Joining with members of the Philadelphia Affordable Housing Coalition, the hallway leading into city council chambers was filled with concerned families.

Not allowed onto the Council floor we filled the balcony and made ourselves visible with stickers and signs snuck in on the backs of file folders
With the room filled with KWRU and other members of the Philadelphia Affordable Housing Coalition, Mayor Street proceeded to announce cuts to housing. He did announce that there would be additional money towards domestic violence victims, but not towards housing for domestic violence victims.
