19th- After 3 days of travel, Cheri Honkala finally arrived at midnight
in Mumbai, India. Members of the KWRU participated in the Women In Black
demonstration and Cheri presented before Corinne Kumar, Ramsey Clark,
Denis Halliday (who resigned as Assistant Secretary General of the UN),
and Winnie Mandela. At the conclusion of Cheri's talk, most of the room
was left in tears, including Winnie Mandela who wept on Cheri's shoulder.
She then stated that she would do all that she could to support the growing
movement of the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign in the US.
