The delgation discovered first hand Switzerland's health care system was not as ideal as it seemed. Only after a sit in and press conference, Cheri's son, Guillermo, was able to recieve the medical treatment he needed and the immunizations that he was unable to get in the United States.

Overcoming the language barrier Guillermo was able to make friends with the other children from FEA, the group that sponsored housing for our delegation.

While in Geneva the delegation visited the World Health Organization. We were the first grassroots group from the United States to ever meet with them.

Members of the KWRU attended the CRIS International meeting where Cheri Honkala addressed the issue of the poor being dissappeared in America.
