Due to a much higher level of Homeland Security then originally anticipated, the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign is preparing a series of organizing and human rights activities leading up to the establishment of a mobile "Bushville" tent city. They need everyone's support during this time of overwhelming law enforcement interference in order to keep their message clear.

"What we're really suffering from, aside from being silenced, is that we're dealing with serious human rights violations like living without food, housing, employment, and health insurance in the United States of America."

- Cheri Honkala
National Spokesperson for the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign

The Campaign is preparing for a series of activities including impromptu demonstrations, food distributions, human rights monitoring and documentation, voter education and registration. This is all in preparation for their "March For Our Lives" at 4pm on August 30th in front of the United Nations.

WHEN: Monday, July 19th, 10am
