Aug 1 and 2, 2004 Pasaic and Clifton

Sunday due to the intense down pour of rain our new group of marchers was prevented from joining us. In spite of this we were really productive and did a lot of mapping; including our New York City marching route.

Monday a large group joined us in the morning and we started marching from Pasaic and into Clifton and on to the edge of Paterson.

There was a lot of energy today, probably because we had a lot of fresh people.

We approached a number of churches to host us for the one night. But when it became clear that is was getting dark, and we still had not had any luck we found a parking lot and bedded down on a tarp and our sleeping bags for the night.

Even though we didn't find a church to give us shelter, Father Rick from St. john Lutheran church in Pasaic generously arranged for us to have dinner and breakfast at a local restaurant, The Oasis.
