August 11, 2004 - Organizing in Bronx / Espanol
We began our day in attendance at a press conference with
Not In Our Name.
We then spent the rest of the day marching through the bronx
and collecting Faces of the Fallen documentation.
During our march a teacher asked us to stop in and teach kids
at a local church a song.
It started to storm and hail so we decided to ride the subways
and hand our flyers and talk to people on the train for the
next few hours.
We
finally ended up at St. Anne's Church in the bronx where we
had an educational. We were joined by a photographer from
the Philadelphia Inquirer and a reporter from NY Magazine.
