While
participating in a Press Conference with United
For Peace and Justice today, representatives from the
Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign made it clear
that taking away the voice of the poor in this country, at
a time with they are fighting for the very survival, is not
an option.
Regardless
of major efforts made by homeland security to interfere with
our March on opening day of the Republican National Covention;
we will march with or without a permit; we will march regardless
of all the other threats and efforts to make us invisible.
We
will continue to reach out to people across our country and
the world letting them know the true reality of poverty in
America.
