"Together"
by Carolyn Caesar
Kensington Welfare Rights Union
2003

Let's come together
We as the people must stand
and fight for our human rights
in order to form great nations
we must unite as a single population.

Red, yellow, black and white
let's join hands to win the fight
scream, shout, let the corporations
know what a great nation is about
we will be heard—not one, in numbers.

Let's come together
united we stand, divided
we will surely fall.
