KWRU again this last year has:

• Attended the World Social Forum in India and Brazil; speaking on behalf of the Poor in the US.
• Continued to fight for housing and go to jail for homeless families (Many of whom are victims of domestic violence) whose right to housing is being violated.
• Continued to protest against the war in Iraq and here at home.
• Our former director and current National Organizer of the PPEHRC traveled to Venezuela as a Human Rights Defender.
• Traveled around New Jersey and PA in a mobile Bushville collecting Economic Human Rights Documentation as part of our Faces of the Fallen Project.
• Along with members of the Poor Peoples' Economic Human Rights Campaign and thousands of others around the country and world we marched on opening day of the Republican National Convention in NYC. March for Our Lives: Stop the War at Home.
• Continued to play a leadership role in the Philadelphia Affordable Housing Coalition
• Protested and won affordable housing for homeless families during our Homes of the Holidays Campaign.
• Successfully petitioned the Organization of American States for a hearing and testified on the crimes of Economic Human Rights in the US.
